Super Mario World 64 for SMD is a pirate game. This is the port of the popular SNES game Super Mario World, known in Japan as Super Mario World Rom. Appointment 64 (rather than 2 / II) was apparently added so that the game was still consonant with the game on N64 called Super Mario 64 (Super Mario 64 – Shindou Edition). Super Mario World 64 for Sega MegaDrive / Genesis turned out to be a pretty high-quality port. There are, of course, differences, for example, a pale (dull) palette, but taking into account that the game was ported by pirates, you need to take off your hat in front of them. Most of the functions of the game are saved, but, unfortunately, some were not implemented. The plot of the game remains unchanged, Mario once again has to save Princess Toadstool and defeat the villain, King Coop.
Let me remind you that on SMD there are several more games dedicated to Mario: Super Mario World., Super Mario 2 1998, Super Mario World, Mario 3: Around the World, Mario 4: Space Odyssey. Although it sounds corny, but this game is a hack (alteration) of the pirated game Squirrel King, or more simply Chip and Dale for Sega MegaDrive. Now from this game, they decided to make a game about another very popular character – Mario. And they called it Super Mario World (Super Mario World.). Some graphics have been changed. But the gameplay remains the same. Now Mario can kill the enemy only by throwing a box at him and not by jumping on him. There are also fireballs (fireballs) but they were in the previous game. Getting used to such a Mario is quite difficult. But for those who have never played traditional Mario, the game might be nice. It is understood that the game was not licensed by Sega (Unlicensed).
